Let's start with the Republican party

According to Wikipedia, the Republican Party "was founded by anti-slavery expansion activists in 1854, it is often called the Grand Old Party or the GOP (Oh... so that's what that means), despite being the younger of the two major parties. The party's platform is generally considered right of center in the U.S. political spectrum." ... "Republicans emphasize the role of free markets and individual achievement as the primary factors behind economic prosperity. To this end, they favor laissez-faire economics, fiscal conservatism, and the promotion of personal responsibility over welfare programs"... "Reaganomics... This theory holds that reduced income tax rates increase GDP growth and thereby generates the same or more revenue for the government from the smaller tax on the extra growth." "They believe private spending is usually more efficient than government spending".

Oh well.. let's think about this for now... too much would get confusing...

First... that data about "founded by anti-slavery expansion" is news to me... good news.
Free markets... promotion of personal responsibility... reduced income tax... sounds good.

Tomorrow I will maybe see more of the Republican ideas, or maybe I will see the ideas of the counterpart for the same issues.

For now, need more information...

  1. Why to Vote Republican and Tex Christopher
First of all, congratulations on becoming a United States Citizen! I hope that you have learned a lot through your experience and will use that knowledge to help others follow in your footsteps. I would like to take a few minutes and help prepare you to vote in the upcoming election by telling you about the Republican Party and Tex Christopher who is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Congressional District 18. I read in your blog that you have already done some research about the history of the Republican Party and what its traditional beliefs are so I will help bring you up to date about why you should vote for a Republican candidate.
The GOP has always believed in the Constitution and the freedoms that are written into that document. Republicans have what is known as the conservative view of government. Republicans want to make sure that the federal government holds only limited power and that the people governed can be free to enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The GOP believes that by being fiscally conservative and limiting government spending there will be more money available to pass on to the public in the form of reduced taxes. By giving more money back to the people they will have more money to put back into the economy. This creates a cycle that allows businesses to grow and expand creating more tax revenue for the government. Republicans also believe that small businesses are the backbone of our economy and people should be free to prosper and enjoy the fruits of their own hard work and success. By reducing taxes and creating opportunities to start a business the economy will continue to grow independently without too much interference from the government.
Republicans are also known for their stances against abortion and their philosophy on reforming the education system to help foster creativity and promote a system that involves the parents and works with the individual student. They also believe in an individual’s right to keep and bear arms, as well as a belief in a strong military presence to protect, encourage, and foster freedom around the world. The Republican Party believes that the United States is the greatest nation in the world and that is because of the freedoms we have and the strength of its citizens and communities. All of these things make the Republican Party the party of future success for the citizens of the United States of America.
